About this event...


I've been serving as a lay worship leader for about 17 years now, in Rockville, MD (about 30 minutes outside Washington, DC), where I live with my wonderful wife and precious, little 'almost' two year old daughter. I'm Chinese by nationality and attend a church of primarily Asian believers. I serve as a worship leader, and play the keyboard, guitar, and bass.

I’m one of those people that has never been able to go to a live worship training conference. We just didn’t have the time or budget for it. Maybe some of you can relate.

As worship leaders, our heart is to see our churches become true communities of worship.

But unfortunately, getting worship leader/ministry training is still very hard to come by.

Unfortunately, a lot of today's best worship leader training can only be accessed in worship conferences that many, many worship leaders (like myself) simply cannot attend due to travel, budget, or time.

And it's a shame that so many worship leaders miss out on so much ministry insight and wisdom!

With the world changing faster than ever around us, getting critical training out to the worship leaders in the front lines of local churches is even more crucial than ever, as we strive to be a shining light of worship to the world.


HOW THIS EVENT CAME TO BE...

A lot of my personal/professional background has been in managing internet technologies in various technology companies.

So earlier in 2007, God sparked this vision in my head:

Why not use today's internet technologies to help worship leaders with a new and DIFFERENT kind of worship training event!

What if we could use today’s available technology to connect local worship ministries with today’s leading worship teachers - right in people’s homes and right over the internet?

A new kind of worship training event where we could...

  1. finally break down the traditional barriers preventing worship leaders from getting equipped and trained

  2. start connecting worship leaders directly to today's leading worship teachers

  3. get more of today's best worship training directly to the front lines of local church worship leaders

So, by God's grace, I started making calls, sending emails, and set out to organize the first-ever, FREE, online worship training conference - the Worship Teleseminar!

And here we are today, having already finished our 2007 conference - with 22 of today's leading worship teachers, and over 3900 worship ministry leaders participating from over 72 countries - and now we're preparing for more training in 2008!

So to my worship ministry brothers and sisters, I'm so glad you found your way here.
